GenesisFIT COVID - 19 Updates 

AUGUST 3RD 2021

THANK YOU for all of your support during this unprecedented time. Whether it has been through participation in our virtual classes, personal training, or just checking in, we sincerely appreciate it!

GenesisFIT  is currently open to ALL MEMBERS as of Monday, August 2nd, 2021.   The safety of our members and staff is of utmost importance. We have taken extra precautions to make sure that our reopening policies align with guidelines from the CDC and San Mateo County Health Department. Please see below for our most up to date guidelines as of August 3rd, 2021. We ask that you familiarize yourself with the following updates before your visit. 

  • Face Coverings will be required for all individuals regardless of vaccination status.

  • Increased cleaning and sanitation frequency: We are pleased to announce that we have increased the number of sanitation stations in the facility. The fitness center will close for one hour each day for a full cleaning. We ask that you help us out by continuing to wipe down any machines or equipment that you use. 

  • The facility will be closed for one hour each day for a deep cleaning. Members may not use the facility during this time. 

  • The locker rooms and showers will remain open for use.

Our hours of operation are as follows. Hours are subject to change. 

Monday - Friday 5:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Staffed Hours

Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

 

 

Please note that the above policies and procedures are subject to change at any time. We thank you in advance for your patience as we work towards a safe reopening. 

All dues-paying members will continue to not be charged. At this time, we do not have an estimated reopening date for the public membership program. Please continue to check our website for updates. 

 

As a reminder, everyday preventive actions may help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses, and can help get us back open!

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after visiting the restroom, before eating, after blowing your nose, coughing, sneezing or touching your face.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Consider staying home if you are not feeling well.

  • Cover your cough or sneeze.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.

  • Practice social distancing when you are not with members from your household.
